Hoy día 25 de diciembre los cristianos celebramos que Dios ha nacido entre nosotros, que se ha hecho carne de nuestra carne, él, que era Dios. El papa Francisco en su discurso de Navidad no ha olvidado a ninguno de los que para Dios nace de una manera especial: niños soldados, perseguidos, refugiados, mujeres víctimas de trata, víctimas de atentados que se convierten en nuestros mártires de hoy y tantos otros lugares humanos donde la dignidad divina está siendo vulnerada.
Después de su breve discurso el papa ha recordado que es la Navidad del Año Santo de la Misericordia y que no podemos perder la esperanza porque donde nace Dios nace la Esperanza. La única forma de que crezca la paz es que practiquemos la misericordia con nuestros hermanos, con todos nuestros hermanos.
«La Palabra era la luz verdadera, que alumbra a todo hombre. Al mundo vino, y en el mundo estaba; el mundo se hizo por medio de ella, y el mundo no la conoció. Vino a su casa, y los suyos no la recibieron. Pero a cuantos la recibieron, les da poder para ser hijos de Dios, si creen en su nombre»
Hay motivos y razones para la desesperanza, pero hay muchos más para la esperanza, Dios está con-nosotros, Dios camina a nuestro lado, Dios no se olvida de su pueblo… ¿A quién temeremos? ¿Quién nos hará temblar?

Me quedo con esta frase, porque a veces no prcticamos la misercordia con los cercanos, los que tenemos al lado, los de nuestra casa, nuestros trabajadores etc.
