La descripción de Lucas es maravillosa y nos llena el alma de admiración. Una pecadora pública (no sabemos cual es su pecado pero sí la publicidad del mismo… Y lo que hubiese de verdad o falsedad en ello) se acerca por detrás, junto a sus pies y «llorando, se puso a regarle los pies con sus lágrimas, se los enjugaba con sus cabellos, los cubría de besos y se los ungía con el perfume»
Un cuidado lleno de ternura hasta las lágrimas, un gesto que muestra el poder del amor derrochado por Jesús en su fragilidad misericordiosa. El gesto no sólo habla de la mujer sino, sobre todo, de ese Jesús de los últimos siempre juzgados y condenados por la impúdica justicia que malnace de la arrogancia de los que se creen «que no son como ellos»
Y la respuesta de Jesús va al centro mismo de nuestro corazón alejándose de cualquier intento de defensa miope y cortoplacista: «Por eso te digo: sus muchos pecados están perdonados, porque tiene mucho amor; pero al que poco se le perdona, poca ama»
Que nos sintamos necesitados de mucho perdón para poder disfrutar también de tanto amor regalado.
